Well…
Although I have only been actively following it for the last few months, geospatial blogging has really taken off in the last year or so. I figure better late than never; hope I’m welcome at the party.
I plan to use this space to talk about my geospatial interests. These are always changing, but they currently include:
- Open Source GIS
- Google Earth, specifically dynamic data like I’m providing at the City of Nanaimo
- MapGuide Open Source
- Safe Software’s FME spatial etl tool
- GIS for local government
- Public data provision
More to come later…

Welcome to the GIS party Jason! It takes some discipline to keep it up, but my blog is just over one year old now. Oh, and don’t get discouraged if you feel like you need to take a break from it every once and a while. I know I do.
