It&#039;s open, but unfortunately it&#039;s not publicly specified or documented other than in source code.

And as long as we&#039;re clarifying things, Autodesk did not write an FDO provider for PostGIS.  It made it into one revision of the FAQ and that&#039;s as far as it went.  Because of the importance of this data source, a PostGIS provider is currently under development, and should be ready for some initial beta testing really soon.
