My name in lights :)

Hey,

I’ve got some furniture named after me (http://www.furniture2buy.com/jason1.html), which is much better than being arrested for receiving stolen property.

Hmm… maybe I’m revealing too much about myself here. Is it odd to have a Google Alert on your own name ? :)

    Not odd at all — I’ve on for my own name too.. (my last name is quite unique, so the hits usually turn out to be for me or a relative)

    Actually, I have one on my name as well, found out I died a few weeks ago, but at least lots of people wrote about me when I did.

    I think I read that some futurist had predicted that in the future such a service would available, and that the first thing everyone would do is set it up to flag anything regarding themselves. Anyone else recall reading that? Anyway, its come to pass.

    Not strange at all. I have an alert on my name, too. Makes sure that no one is writing bad things in my name :)
