I’m on National TV :)


OK, maybe not the same nation as y’all, but it’s still pretty cool.

This morning, a segment on CTV’s Canada AM called "Canadians on the Cutting Edge" featured the work I’ve done with Google Earth for my employer, the City of Nanaimo.

I’m still playing on my 15 minutes of fame from some articles in the Vancouver Sun and Globe and Mail (paid content, but there’s an excerpt on Carsons Post). At the time, local papers picked it up, as well as local broadcast and cable TV.

I think that this puts me over the 15-minute mark, so hopefully it’s over now :)

    Is there a version that doesn’t reference all of those confusing measurement units such as “meters” and “centimeters”?

    Is there anything else? You’re certainly not talking about something with confusing ratios like 0.394 to a real measurement are you?

    it seems that their site is suffering from some technical difficulties. Must have felt the awesome /. effect of my blog :)

    Jason, great video and great to see you again :-) Congratulation.

    About technicals, it works for me. I can watch it on Windows XP Pro, Firefox, Windows Media Player plugin. There is a 20-30 secs gap between the commercial and Jason’s show.
